Résumé: Enjoyed the inside of the house, nice bedrooms and kitchen was well equipped. Private parking spot was nice. The view from the deck was excellent! The listing is a little deceptive, as the photos and description imply direct beach access from the house. Small potatoes. The real issue was the construction that was ongoing at the house to the left when facing the beach. The morning of the 5th my son, brother and I were shell hunting and not present when my wife arose. She wanted to go outside, but there were three strange men in the deck who were part of the construction crew. That is not acceptable as there was no forewarning regarding the construction. Further, there were members of the crew present, as well as our property owner (Chris), during parts of the workday on the 5th, 6th & 7th on the deck of our rental. They were all friendly, but this did keep my wife from using the deck during the day, though. That is not acceptable, Additionally, there were at least two occasions where our parking spot was taken by a work crew vehicle. These were quickly remedied, but should not have happened. Finally, on the evening of the 10th, my family and I were eating dinner on the deck, while enjoying the sunset. Around sundown, a workercame and was adjusting some sort of sensor for about 15-20 minutes while we were eating. That is not acceptable. Absent the construction, nice stay, but was perturbed by the construction as noted above. Thanks! Mike
